hotel, where all the rooms are exactly the same - our rooms
vary in terms of location, size, layout, bathroom facilities
and so on. We like to check that the room we book for you
is the one most suited to your precise needs. We can also
use the opportunity to explain things like travel to the islands,
and to answer any questions you may have, which is particularly
important if you haven't visited the islands before.

is the Bell Rock Hotel only rated as 2 Star?
Our aim at the Bell Rock Hotel is to offer a high standard
of accommodation and food, with excellent service and extra
features such as our indoor swimming pool. Many guests ask,
why are we not a 3 Star hotel?
reason is that some of our compact double rooms, which are
very popular, are not 3 Star size. We do not have a lift,
and our 23 rooms are on different levels (please see our access
statement, and call us to discuss your booking if you
have mobility problems). Also, we don't offer lunch or room
service - as there is generally no demand for these - which
are needed to achieve 3 Star status.
Our rooms are clean and contemporary, rather than being trendy
and designer-driven, and we like to focus on traditional values
like friendliness and good customer service, rather than flashy
touches and excessive marketing. This keeps our costs down
and allows us to offer you, the customer, some great deals.
